Wick's Pies & Grissom AFB Museum You sure have to leave early in the morning to go on a Wick's Pies tour, but it is well worth it! By this time, we are starting to get accustomed to wearing these white hair nets. Our driver, Chuck Link, even posed for the picture. The first picture is our Wick's Tour Guide, a very nice knowledgeable gentleman, briefing us before we entered the factory. Sorry, but no cameras are allowed inside the factory. They don't want to let out their secrets!
After the tour, it was on to Mrs. Wick's Restaurant for lunch, where we were able to buy their wonderful pies at super savings!
We then moved on to Glass & More in Muncie, Indiana. This large wholesale warehouse was a bonanza of bargains! We got so involved with shopping that we never took pictures there. Sorry! We then rode to Grissom Air Force Base Museum, which everyone found very interesting. I think a lot of us pass the museum often, but have never stopped in. We were also fortunate enough to be there on a day when there was a volunteer veteran guide at the museum - pictured below.
We never seem to be able to have everyone together for a group picture, but here are the people who were around the coach at the time. The others were wandering around the grounds looking at the aircraft on display.
