Studebaker Drivers Club
International Meet
June 17 - 23, 2007

The Studebaker Drivers Club held their annual International Meet in South Bend June 17 - 23, 2007.  Events were held at the new Studebaker Museum and cars were displayed at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds.  If you have not yet visited the new Studebaker Museum located at 201 S. Chapin Street in South Bend, this beautiful new facility and the cars displayed are a must see!  It will bring back wonderful memories for those of you living locally who remember when the Studebaker was a common site on the streets. For those of you who are not local and are traveling through the area, put the Studebaker Museum on your agenda.  You will not be disappointed!

TravelStarz proudly hosted day trips for this event throughout the week, visiting several car museums, Amish country, a botanical garden and winery, plus much more.

Pictures may be viewed by clicking on the buttons to the left, indicating the various locations we visited, using 15 buses in 4 days and moving 625 people.

Studebaker, Packard and Avanti owners came from across the United States, as well as international guests from Australia, South Africa, Sweden, Bahamas, Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with many U.S. attendees traveling to South Bend in their Studebaker.

Below are pictures from the concours area, showing just a handful of the wonderfully preserved specimens produced here in South Bend many years ago.

Many thanks to the Studebaker National Museum and the Studebaker Drivers Club for the opportunity to provide our services.  Also, many thanks to the Cardinal Buses drivers for their safe driving skills, as well as their patience throughout the day.

7.9.07  On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the staff of the Studebaker National Museum, I want to express our sincerest thanks for your time, energy and commitment to make the Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet such a rousing success!  I know how hard you worked and want you to know how very much we appreciate it.  Believe me, we really couldn't have done it without you!  The Meet set records for the number of registrations, attendees, and number of vehicles in the concours.
