Fireside Theatre & Lake Geneva

August 25 & 26, 2006

Fireside Theatre always serves a scrumptious dinner and entertains us with the best performances.  They did it again with "42nd Street"!

Our first stop was to take a nice leisurely stroll through "The Domes" in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

We then proceeded to the Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin.  You can not find a friendlier staff at any other hotel.

We had time to freshen up and load the bus for Fireside Theatre for a superb dinner, followed by 42nd Street.

We joined in to help Herb and Ruth celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

We slept in a bit, had breakfast at the hotel, then moved on to Lake Geneva, where we enjoyed a fun narrated ice cream social cruise.

Below are a few pictures of some of the totally magnificent homes on Lake Geneva.  Several of the names mentioned in the narration were very familiar to us, such as Marshall Field.
