CHICAGO CUBS GAME
August 21, 2008
9.3.08: I just had to
let you know how much Joe and our neighbor, Glenn, enjoyed the trip. They are
still talking about it to everyone they can. Glenn
is now a convert to bus travel and is talking his wife into taking future trips.
He laughed at us when he first found out that we were taking a bus trip, but
once he experienced it for himself and realized how relaxed he was when he got
there, he is talking his wife into taking future trips. He
is also talking her into taking in the Cubs games with you. Joe and I are
already talking about the games and we are both going next year. So
please, put our names down for them as soon as they become available.
See you soon.

I've never been a baseball fan, but with all the energy, activity and people watching in and around Wrigley Field. I'd go over and over again! The weather was beautiful and we had excellent seats.
What a marvelous way for families to bond and enjoy one another. Some of our passengers consisted of Grandpa and 2 grandsons; and Mom, Dad and 2 children - a boy and a girl. It's no wonder why we sold out and had a waiting list.

Below are pictures of some of our passengers. No one claimed to be skipping work and not wanting their picture posted. ;- )

Wrigley Field and its surroundings are beautiful!

And thank you to Pat, who was sitting next to me and informing me of the rituals, such as standing for the 7th Inning Stretch.

What scenery as a bonus!
