Branson Christmas It was pretty cold while we were in Branson, but the Christmas shows wouldn't have been the same had it been 80 degrees. Our days were totally filled from morning til night, giving us enough time to catch a night's sleep and start all over again the next day. We hope you enjoy the many, many pictures we took while in Branson. We took no pictures at the first show we attended (Country Tonight) the night of our arrival, but we took enough the following days to make up for it. The below is our group picture taken prior to the Bobby Vinton Show.
On the second day, we attended the Dalena Ditto morning show. She is a lovely performer who interacts with the audience, giving us a lot of laughs.
Dalena ended her show by having all of the bus drivers on stage, complete with red reindeer noses and antlers. Our driver, Paul, is shown circled in white below.
Below is part of our group at the Bobby Vinton show. The second picture is Bobby Vinton's mother on-stage.
Below is our group playing professional wine taste testers at Stone Hill Winery.
Some of our girls in the famous Ladies Room at the Shoji Tabuchi Theatre.
Below are pictures at the Andy Williams Christmas Show. Gotta tell ya, Andy's still got it! We stopped at a neat 50's ice cream parlor on the way back to our hotel.
No one can give belly laughs like Yakov Smirnoff!
Our receptive held a private banquet type dinner, serving as host to all of their groups in Branson one night. We were treated to personal entertainment by some of the Branson stars.
We also attended Presley's Country Jubilee, filled with a combination of country music, Christmas music and great laughs.
We also toured the new Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum, recently moved to Branson from California. If you look closely, that is a coin covered saddle console and gun door handles.
I'm sure "Capt. Crunch", the guide on our Ride the Ducks tour, was sorry they had given us all "Wacky Quackers" by the time our 1 1/2 hour tour was done. Several of our people tried their hand at driving the "Duck".
We rounded out the trip with a dinner cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle.
