American Idol Live! Concert August 15, 2006
I have to say that the American Idol Live! concert at Van Andel Auditorium in Grand Rapids, Michigan was one of the most heartwarming trips we have offered. The audience, in my estimation, was about 50% children and teens, who thoroughly enjoyed the good clean music and entertainment, singing along, waving their arms back and forth to the music and waving to the entertainers. We sold out the 40 tickets we purchased, with our passengers' ages running from 6 years old to senior citizens. Pictures are below. The downside: Cameras were not allowed in the auditorium, so we left ours on the bus. The upside: A few of our passengers snuck their cameras into the auditorium! (I guess I was a chicken). Hopefully we will be able to get some of those pictures so we can put them on the website.
8.16.06 We
had a great time yesterday. The show was so entertaining; we renewed old
acquaintances and met some wonderful new people, also. Bobbie
Martin 8.18.06 Just a quick note to tell you that Judy and I really enjoyed the American Idol show Tuesday nite. You may have been a little disappointed in the seats but I bet ours were actually better than being on the floor - many times it's harder to see. Nancy Boyer 8.19.06 Just a note to let you know that my grandchildren daughter, and myself thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was great CLEAN entertainment that even the youngest child could enjoy. We are ready for next year. Sign us up. Marlene Spiegel |
